Bamboo and wild boar

Bamboo grows fast and is easy to process, so it has been valued as a highly productive material. Bamboo shoots were also an important food source. In recent years, there has been much less use of bamboo, resulting in many bamboo forests left unattended to be like wild bamboo groves.
Unattended bamboo groves are dim, making it hard for other plants to grow. Another problem is that bamboo shoots turn the groves into feeding grounds for wild boars.
